Great news!!  The SIMULIA Virtual Human Modeling team is thrilled to announce that the Living Heart Model (LHM) was just awarded the the Best of Show Award of the new, innovative products showcased at the BioITWorld event, April 5-7 in Boston, MA.  

For those unfamiliar, the BioITWorld Conference brings together IT managers and professionals, Scientists, Researchers and Students in the biomedical industry to learn about the latest innovations in applications for advancing biomedical research, drug delivery and discovery, and genomics sequencing.  This is familiar territory for our sister brand, BIOVIA, who sponsored the event and invited us to demo the LHM Experience for zSpace in their booth. To maximize the opportunity, the LHM was submitted under BIOVIA's name for consideration in the Research & Clinical Data Management Award category and ran up against companies like the eventual winner of this category, Wiley for their chemical compound optimization product, ChemPlanner.  As the announcement was made, I thought we lost to Wiley, but they announced a new award category called the In Silico Futures Award to recognize the significant scientific contribution that the LHP will bring to the cardiovascular and biomedical industries.

We cannot be more proud of this acknowledgement and would like to thank our 65+ LHP Members and also our fellow employees for their contributions toward making the LHP a success!
