ABAQUS APPLICATION ENGINEER for Benelux

The role of the Abaqus Application Engineer includes Technical Pre- & Aftersales and Consultancy.

 Technical Pre & -Aftersales

• Providing Technical Pre-sales Support such as demo's and benchmarks to assist software sales
• Develop simulation & analysis methods for customer specifications
• Provide training for Abaqus and other SIMULIA products
• Develop Python Scripts for Abaqus to create tailor-made solutions

Simulation Consultancy

• Perform Training and Simulation Consultancy on customer location or from our office location
• Contribute to determine the project specifications and time estimations
• Performing Linear & Non-Linear Structural Analysis
• Performing CFD Analysis
• Performing Multiphisics Analysis
• Troubleshooting & Support for existing Abaqus Customers

Desired Skills and Experience

The Abaqus Application Engineer needs to have:

• Ability to solve complex simulation chalenges
• Good Communication skills
• a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, etc
• Experience with high-end FEA (FEM/FEA, or CFD) software such as Abaqus, Ansys, Marc, Patran
• Experience with performing Simulation Consultancy Projects
• Ability to communicate in English & preferably in Dutch language both verbally and in writing
