Abstract:
Every simulation engineer who preparing the Abaqus Implicit solver and simulate the complex models with non-linearities and contact facing the problem of non-convergence. Whole process tuning of model can be time consuming even for very experience people.
In case of problematic convergence of the simulation the simulation engineer must manually analyze the message, dat and sta files. The files contain lot of information and only some of them can help identify the source of problem in the model. In IDIADA we developed program who can speed up the convergence issue resolving.
The Message analyzer process Abaqus output files and extract the most important information to graphical interface. Then it is easy to analyze the information – sorting, filtering, and occurrence. The useful functionality is heuristic analysis of the model problems. Based the symptoms in messages the possible problems are identified, and the solution is suggested.
Due to the connection with the pre/post processor it is possible to identify/visualize the problematic entities (contact pairs/ general contact internal pairs/ connectors / nodes / elements). Currently, the program is connected to pre/post processor ANSA/META of BETA CAE and universal solution, pre/post independent is under development.
