The SIMULIA Regional User Meeting APSOUTH 2023 Virtual Event, held on 3 August, successfully brought together SIMULIA customers from the Asia Pacific South region. The event witnessed the participation of 200 attendees, showcasing insights from esteemed SIMULIA experts and customers. The event emphasized the transformative influence of simulation on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

We were privileged to have Dr. Allan Zhong from Halliburton Singapore present on the topic "Using Multi-Surrogate Models to Accelerate a Sequential FSI analysis" at the SIMULIA REGIONAL USER MEETING APSOUTH Virtual Event on August 3rd, 2023 

Biography

Dr. Allan Zhong is a Halliburton Distinguished Scientist with engineering mechanics and computational modeling expertise. He has 25 years of industry experience. He has 40 issued/pending patents and published over 80 technical papers. Before Halliburton, Allan worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, developing an industry-leading leading fracture mechanics-based truck tire durability model. He is a fellow of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), and a member of SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers). Allan holds a Ph.D. in applied mechanics from California Institute of Technology.
