Biography


Professor Stefanie FEIH is the Director of the Griffith University Advanced Design and Prototyping Technologies (ADaPT) Institute and a Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Griffith University. Stefanie is an Inaugural 2020 SIMULIA Champion, an Editor for Composites Part B and an elected member of the Executive Council of the International Committee on Composite Materials.  For more than 25 years, she has been working in both academic and industry-focused research roles on lightweight material processing and numerical design for a wide range of materials, inclusive of metals, ceramics, polymers and their composites. Her research links structural performance to the underlying material properties. Stefanie is passionate about bridging the gap between experiments and numerical simulations. She has published over 190 journal and conference papers (H-index 46, >6800 citations) focused on wind, naval, O&G offshore, aerospace and – most recently – biomedical structures.

 

The SIMULIA Regional User Meeting APSOUTH 2024 Virtual Event successfully brought together SIMULIA customers from the Asia Pacific South region. The event witnessed the participation of 183 attendees, showcasing insights from esteemed SIMULIA experts and customers. The event emphasized the transformative influence of simulation on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
