Goldwind Science Technology: Multidisciplinary Realtime Simulation System Construction and Application in Wind Turbine | MBS Tech Days 2021

During the MBS Tech Days 2021, Yan Yifeng from Goldwind Science Technology held a presentation called "Multidisciplinary Realtime Simulation System Construction and Application in Wind Turbine".

In his presentation, Yan demonstrates first how, based on the Concurrent platform and Simpack software, SiL and HiL real-time simulation systems are established, respectively. ​​​​​​​Then the two real-time systems are applied in wind turbine, including verification and optimization of hydraulic pitch control algorithm, the evaluation of start-stop performance, the test of the primary control-converter-pitch system, and validation of control algorithm.

Yan YIFENG, a senior dynamics analysis engineer at Goldwind Science Technology, majored in Mechanical System Dynamics. Yan has primarily engaged in wind turbine dynamic simulation analysis and multidisciplinary co-simulation system development during the past two years, including SiL and HiL simulation systems. Yan is the Project Manager of the wind turbine multidisciplinary co-simulation system development project.
