This test data is from virgin samples of FKM rubber. There are tests performed in uniaxial, equibiaxial, and planar tension modes of deformation. This test data may be helpful in calibrating an elastomer material model that includes a mixture of hyperelasticity + viscoelasticity + Mullins effect + plasticity. The material specimen is a uniaxial dogbone. Strain measurement is done with a laser extensometer. Gauge length of the laser extensometer was not recorded. Test was performed at room temperature. Nominal strain rate is 0.01 1/sec. There is one uniaxial test performed at 0.001 1/sec. Loading is strain controlled with a small force unload stop to avoid buckling the specimen during the unload. The specimen is first loaded to 10% engineering strain and unloaded/reloaded 5 times. Then the specimen is loaded/unloaded to 20% engineering strain 5 times, then the specimen is loaded/unloaded to successively higher strains in a similar manner. This test data was kindly contributed by Axel Products, Inc.
