This set of tutorials illustrate how to build and compute a frequency analysis of an aluminum cantilever beam. Finite element models using both BEAM elements (Tutorial 1), and SOLID elements (Tutorial 2) will be analyzed.  The geometry and material properties of the cantilever beam section are shown below.
