The 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Space (eduspace.3ds.com) is where you can access on-demand training content from Dassault Systèmes—and it has just updated! This includes training for SIMULIA products such as Abaqus and CST Studio Suite, as well as courses for 3DEXPERIENCE roles and applications.

With so much content available, here are some tips to help you find courses that interest you.

New: Courses are now called Learning Paths

All of your learnings are now gathered under the Learning Path tab,including:

• Courses which used to be called Learning Modules, such as Introduction to Abaqus or Structural Simulation Essentials (for 3DEXPERIENCE users).  
• Role paths: each one of these starts with Perform and links to a list of courses appropriate for a 3DEXPEREINCE role such as Perform as an All Physics Analyst. The courses in this role based learning path give you options to learn about the apps enabled with the role. 

Search for a course

Once you're in the 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Space, use the search icon to search a word or phrase. e.g. search for bookshelf. A Bookshelf is the name of our optional prerequisite for 3DEXPERIENCE. Unless you're currently completing a Quickstart or Primer course, the Bookshelf you want to play is Bookshelf: 3DEXPERIENCE Basics for Simulation. If you haven't used the 3DEXPERIENCE platform before, you can find answers in the bookshelf, whenever you need help with beginner questions. 

The course overview will be shown

1. Review the Description
2. Notice the Contents showing titles for each module in the bookshelf. To view any of these you need to start the course.
3. Before starting the course, use the drop-down to make sure you're using the correct Release (usually you want the latest)
4. Click Start Learning Path (this may take a few seconds)  

In the player, you can:

1. Navigate to any module using the Contents.
2. Click Start Module to play your selected module.
3. Click Full Screen to expand the contents in your browser
4. Click X if you need to hide the Contents. 

Simulation-Specific training access

Simulation specific training on-demand comes from a Library subscription.

• For users at commercial companies, contact your DS partner or sales rep to learn about our current promotion. Afterwards you need to use a voucher link or voucher code to access your librarie(s). 
• If you have purchased a 3DEXPERIENCE Student package or are accessing SIMULIA licenses though your academic institutions. Read more in: Online Learning for Academics  

Traditional Products Example

You need a voucher or subscription access to Learning Experiences for SIMULIA Products to see on-demand training for the SIMULIA standalone applications & traditional products. Search for a simple term (e.g. Isight shown here) to find familiar course titles on Abaqus, fe-safe, Isight, Tosca, Simpack, PowerFLOW, XFlow, Opera, and/or CST Studio Suite (depending on your libraries):

In the image above, note that there are some non-Isight courses (Experience* or *fe-safe courses shown). If needed you can use the Release filter to select your Release of Isight:

3DEXPERIENCE Example

Are you looking for training on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform?  For instance All Physics Analyst allows you to run jobs from Abaqus and other SIMULIA products, using the 3DEXPERIENCE cloud. Perform as an All Physics Analyst is the role path containing all of the courses available for your role. Search on Edu Space for all physics to find this path. You can click the course title either in the:

1. Quick Suggestions shown while typing the search term
2. Learning Path tab after entering the search term

The learning path overview will be shown

1. Notice the Contents showing the courses in this path. 
2. Courses may be labeled Optional (these are optional prerequisites or advanced contents).  
3. The course(s) that are not labeled optional are Recommended learning for this role. 
4. The Duration of the role path is the sum of the durations of the recommended courses. 
5. Before starting the path, use the drop-down to make sure you're using the correct Release (usually you want the latest)
6. Click Start Learning Path (this may take a few seconds)  

In the player, you can:

1. Expand or collapse a course in the Contents.
2. Click on the Overview lesson for a course you want to play, then click Start to play the overview.
3. In the Overview for any course, click Resources to download the required files for completing the workshops in that course.
4. When finished with the Overview, navigate the contents of the course using Up Next or Contents.
5. Click Back to learning path to exit the player.
