Abstract 

In the realm of illumination optics, achieving optimal performance and visual quality is paramount. At Fagerhult, we have developed an optimization process using Isight. With the integration of SolidWorks and LightTools, the industry-leading software for evaluating illumination designs, we are able to seamlessly create fine-tuned optical designs. LightTools rapid and accurate illumination simulations make it exceptionally efficient within the optimization space, making us able to evaluate thousands of designs on a daily basis.

Presenter Bio

Martin Hübert, Fagerhult Belysning AB, CAE Engineer

Martin is a CAE engineer with 5 years of experience at Fagerhult Belysning AB, specializing in light simulations, structural analysis, and heat transfer. Prior to joining Fagerhult Belysning AB Martin worked in the automotive industry.

He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.

As a dedicated professional, Martin thrives on trying to optimize workflows and utilize available software’s to enhance product design, performance, and efficiency. By doing this complex engineering challenges can be solved in a much more efficient manner.

Outside of work, Martin cherishes quality time with his family. He also likes to play board games, finding joy in strategic thinking, social interactions and friendly competition/cooperation.
