The Role of Realistic Simulation in 3M Innovation

3M is a global innovation company that never stops inventing. They have made driving at night easier, made buildings safer, and made consumer electronics lighter, less energy-intensive and less harmful to the environment.

We had the pleasure of having Anthony B. Ferguson, P.E., lead engineering specialist at 3M, deliver a keynote address at the SIMULIA Community Conference this May. His presentation sketched the structure, the company, and the technologies that 3M innovation is built upon and gave insight into their challenging modeling and simulation landscape along with several examples of the application of SIMULIA products.
