This webinar gives an overview of User Subroutines in Abaqus, with an emphasis on common examples and applications.

Several examples are presented to motivate the use of subroutines.  An overview of the most common routines is presented to give some idea of the breadth of routines available.  Short of delving into the Fortran code, details are give about the implementation of common routines used for loading ((V)DLOAD), user materials ((V)UMAT), and controls ((V)UAMP).  

Suggestions for development and debugging are given, and more recent developments to enable safe and efficient parallel processing are covered.
