This session will introduce Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA Brand for realistic simulation and in particular the Abaqus Finite Element Analysis product. We will focus on some of the key capabilities of Abaqus which make it suitable for use in these industries. We will then take a look at some industry example workflows, leveraging key Abaqus functionality, before finally showing how we can extend Abaqus capability further with user-subroutines and co-simulation.

Leon Cordingley Industry Process Consultant Dr. Leon Cordingley has worked at Dassault Systèmes for nearly 20 years. In his role as Industry Process Consultant he is responsible for supporting users of SIMULIA products, in particular 3DEXPERINECE and Abaqus. Leon has knowledge across a wide range of simulation capabilities, including composites, additive manufacturing, heat transfer, HPC and python.
