Elastokinematc Suspension System Analysis

After my presentation at the RUM2022 in Hanau I had some reminiscence on my 1st talk at the German Abaqus users meeting, University GH Essen, 1999. Dr. David Hibbitt form HKS Inc. was present and some of my recommendations made it into the code (i.e. *INCLUDE, ...; *TIME POINTS, NAME=... ; *RIGID ..; reduced order models, ...). The comments on CPU time are outdated (although, the job you can run overnight remains the relevant limit) and the tyre models have made quantum leaps. Other aspects are still of relevance in application. If interested you find a copy on the server of the "Deutsche National Bibliotek" (DNB).

From my perspective this shows that RUMs ensure close contact of code developers and users :-)

With that, kind regards, Albert
