In this application note, we show how to combine different tools and techniques within the SIMULIA CST Studio Suite environment to design microwave filters. We apply these workflows to the design of filters based on Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) and Empty Substrate Integrated Waveguide (ESIW) technology.
