ECCUS’ mission is to transfer industrial and storage facilities to underground spaces in order to free up land for nature and other activities. The team needed a scalable, cloud-based solution that delivered powerful design, geological modeling, simulation, and collaborative capabilities in order to bring ECO-Caverne™ to life. This Swiss startup adopted the 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud platform to support its vertically integrated product development cycle having all disciplines in one.
ECCUS uses CATIA for design, GEOVIA for geological modeling, SIMULIA for simulating ventilation and thermal behavior, and ENOVIA for project management. The team can model client sites and underground terrain in a matter of hours and create comprehensive 3D models that bring together all documentation and disciplines in one place. ECCUS plans to create virtual twins of its ECO-Cavernes on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform for maintenance and full lifecycle management.
