Did you know you can now download Abaqus releases from DSx.Client Care?

Depending on the media requested, you may receive more than one download link for the SIMULIA product ordered. Large media packages such as Abaqus are broken down into smaller pieces to improve download reliability. For example you may end up with several files like this:
- SIM_Abaqus.media.1-4.zip
- SIM_Abaqus.media.2-4.zip
- SIM_Abaqus.media.3-4.zip
- SIM_Abaqus.media.4-4.zip
To recreate the full/original DVD package media image, follow these steps:
- Download each of the media files to the same temporary directory.
- Open each zip file (in order, beginning with 1-4) and select the option to either extract here, or extract to a specific directory like c:\\temp or d:\\temp.
- Use the same location and same default name for each extraction in order to combine the outputs of the zip files into the same SIM_Abaqus.media extract directory. This will recreate the DVD image in the SIM_Abaqus.media\\1 directory.
- Run either the setup (for Linux / UNIX) or setup.exe installer file located in the SIM_Abaqus.media\\1 directory.
- Remove the original zip files.
And that's it!
