DMA Conversion Parameters, New in R2021x FD05

Back in April of 2021 we held an internal presentation of this calibration app new feature to a group of beta testers. Ross McLendon presents information on how the DMA conversion parameters are used to convert DMA frequency-domain test data into a time-domain signal.  The time-domain signal (time, strain) is used in numerical mode and A/Std is used to calculate the stress response.  Then the (time, strain, stress) signal is converted back into a DMA response for comparison to the test data.  

Depending on the values of the conversion parameters and the number of points in the original DMA test data, the time-domain signal constructed may contain many points - this can significantly slow down the calibration process.

 

The zip file attached contains two files.  The first is a PDF of the slides that Ross used in the presentation.  The second is an Excel file used for creating time-domain harmonic signals for use as RO data in the calibration app.
