Hicham Farid

SIMULIA Industry Process Consultant - Dassault Systèmes

Dr. Hicham Farid has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Quebec, Canada, where his research focused on Fracture Mechanics. His primary interests are Material Modeling and Calibration, Fracture Mechanics, and Fatigue. Before joining Dassault Systèmes, Hicham spent 12 years working as R&D Engineer/Scientist at leading organizations in the aerospace, nuclear, and renewable energy industries.

Tyler Dodge

SIMULIA Industry Process Consultant - Dassault Systèmes

Dr. Tyler Dodge is an Industry Process Consultant at Dassault Systèmes. Within this role, his primary focus is on electromagnetic simulations applied to a wide set of applications across the electromagnetic spectrum. Truly a physicist at heart, his expertise expands further into broader multiphysics aspects of electrical systems. His publications span from topics like superconductors to metamaterials while earning his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Boston College. While there, he’s been the instructor for a half dozen of physics courses dedicated for undergraduate engineers, earning the Donald J. White Teaching Excellence Award. Being a dedicated member to the American Physical Society, he has given several presentations at the various conferences. Today, Tyler applies his knowledge of electromagnetics, and its interactions with the world, as a simulation expert sharing that expertise amongst the wide-ranging CST STUDIO SUTE user base, across several industries
