Parametric Optimization of Electromagnetic Components is one of the “workhorse” tools for electromagnetic engineers for more than 20 years. While modern manufacturing methods like 3D printing allow the production of designs with very complex surfaces, traditional optimization techniques limit the number of used parameters to describe the geometry.
