At the EuroCentral Regional User Meeting, we had the opportunity to speak to Benoît Cousin, an engineer at Swiss startup firm ECCUS, to find out why simulation is so important in his line of work.

ECCUS’ mission is to transfer industrial and storage facilities to underground spaces to free up land for nature and other activities. They used the Fluid Dynamics Engineer role for modeling thermal behavior as well as defining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and electrical system requirements of their underground storage facility, the ECO-Caverne™.
