In this e-seminar, a demonstration of this capability will be provided for an A&D application but extensions to other industries will be summarized.

Along with engineering KPIs, cost and time are important considerations in product development.  Over the past several decades, CFD has matured and become an essential component in product development in A&D, T&M, IE, CP&G, HT, M&O, HC/LS industries.  In many cases the model build, simulation scenario creation (algorithm, physics models, boundary conditions) and results exploration are disconnected which adversely impacts productivity and collaboration.

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform addresses many of these issues. Aided by a state of the art Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) solver, the connection to CATIA and Abaqus provide unique opportunities for fluids based MDAO and execution of the Digital Thread.
