BMW: Automotive EMC simulation with CST Studio Suite | RUM 2022

Abstract

The plenary presentation is dedicated to the application of 3D field simulation in the EMC conform design for vehicles. At the beginning, the author presents the main terms of the EMC and explain the most important challenges for the automotive EMC. The EMC simulation sustains the modern development processes and help to answer these challenges. The author considers the application of the EMC simulation for the development of vehicles and shows some examples from EMC simulation of BMW iX BEV using the different tools of CST Studio Suite.
