In Rule Based Surface Mesher of Advanced Meshing Tools Workbench in CATIA V5, there is an option to ignore Beads. But if the Bead was created in Generative Shape Design workbench and not in Sheet Metal workbench, then it is considered as a Notch and is not recognized as a Bead in V5 and V6.

Also, the bead should not be bounded by fillet to be recognized for Rule Based Meshing. For example:
