3M has a long history with the Isight product...

3M has a long history with the Isight product going back to the early product releases with Engineous Solutions.  Over the greater than 10 year history of use at 3M, Isight has found many interesting applications.  This presentation will give background on the diverse nature of 3M Company, its modeling community and the general areas where Isight has been used to enhance analysis projects, including manufacturing processes, product and process development and capital equipment.  Several specific project examples will further illustrate the broad applications and impact to 3M.

About the Presenter

Jennifer Trice is a Senior Engineering Specialist at 3M in Design and Engineering Solutions.  She has been at 3M for 24 years and has been working in Engineering Analysis specializing in first principles modeling for more than 20 years.  She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a licensed Professional Engineer.  She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota.
