This example demonstrates the shrink-fit and pressure-penetration loading capabilities of the general contact in Abaqus/Explicit. The rigid ball is press-fit into the hyperelastic tube in the first step. The pressure builds on one side of the ball and one end of the tube because of the pressure-penetration loading in the general contact. The pressure load becomes large enough to force the ball out of the tube. The pressure is removed shortly before the ball leaves the tube.
