The India Regional User Meeting was a grand success with interesting customer papers, exciting updates from the SIMULIA team and a chance to post your selfie on our Facebook page. The highlight this year was the 3DEXPERIENCE PLAYGROUND. Nearly 50 attendees got a hands-on experience to try the modeling and visualization apps in the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. The participants gave some very positive feedback and have requested for a trial.
We were honored to have a keynote talk by Regu Ayyaswamy, Vice President, Engineering Services Team, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. His talk on the challenges faced by the CAE Industry and the future trends we see developing was in line with SIMULIA’s vision and future plans. SIMULIA RUMs always allows attendees to mingle with SIMULIA management and technical staff. This year was no exception; we had a stellar group from our headquarters attend the event. We were happy to have SIMULIA CEO Scott Berkey, SIMULIA AP head Mike Sheh, SIMULIA R&D representative Kingshuk Bose, Mahesh Kailasam from the Energy Industry & Subham Sett from SIMUIA user experience team. There was a marathon session at the EXPERIENCE KIOSK which showcased the “Living Heart Project” on the zSpace tab. Attendees were excited to see this application of SIMULIA in a relatively new area.
