Harald Hasselblad, a Senior Analysis Engineer, is located at the Weight Management and Optimization team at Volvo Cars. He is responsible for corporate weight strategies and driving an Optimization Culture Arena, supporting an optimization-driven process and CAE-CAD integrated development. The arena aims to support the development and implementation of methods and tools for efficient engineering and optimization in the concept and project phases. It also coordinates a national network between OEMs and universities in Sweden. As an industrial PhD student at Volvo Cars, focusing on topology optimization, Harald received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Linköping University, Sweden. Working at Volvo Cars now for 20 years, Harald’s expertise lies within conceptual analysis and optimization and working with development methods and tools for structural optimization. | |

Derek Jordanou-Bailey is a Chief Engineer at Integral Powertrain Ltd. Derek has technical responsibility for defining and delivering several electric powertrain projects for his customers. He graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and in 1995 from the University of Warwick with a Master’s degree in Engineering and Business Management. Engineering simulation has always been an essential part of Derek’s design workflow. Derek supports his designers to deliver their own ‘fast-loop’ simulations as a prerequisite to more specialized downstream simulation work. | |
Joseph Lacey is a Sr. Principal Mechanical Engineer at GE Healthcare with more than 50 patents issued. Joe is an expert in electronics cooling & packaging design, precision temperature control design, system design optimization, and precision tolerance mechanical designs. Prabhu started his professional career at SFE GmbH, an SMB in Berlin, Germany, as an Applications Engineer to become the VP for the North American business and later the Managing Director of SFE. After its acquisition by Dassault Systèmes, Prabhu successfully managed the merge and integration of SFE GmbH with Dassault Systèmes. | |
Dhiraj Nahar has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island. He has been with Dassault Systèmes for the last 17 years. Over the years, he has worked in several roles, from software development to supporting our WW customers with Dassault Systèmes integrated modeling and simulation (MODSIM) solutions. Dhiraj and his team work with customers from different industries, understand their As-Is processes and create solutions to help them design robust and reliable products. They help the customers to deploy these processes in multiple departments and across all design programs. They democratize the engineering design processes using the integrated modeling and simulation environment on the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Dhiraj has worked for several years in the United States and is now settled in Pune, India. |
