Geologists continually face pressure to accurately quantify and represent the subsurface environment in the form of a digital geology model. Sometimes, the variance between the desired geological interpretation in the geologist’s mind and the generated digital model on screen in front of them can be a concern. Often, undesired concessions have to be made to get a model generated on time. Some geology modelling software packages can even introduce bias, or lack the necessary transparency or control to accurately represent the geologist’s interpretation. 

In this webinar, we will explore how by integrating explicit and implicit modelling approaches, geologists can regain control and transparency over their geology models, while also looking at the benefits of a repeatable, parameterized workflow, which makes updating a model faster and easier to use. We will also discuss the evolution of geology modelling and where it could be going into the future, from traditional explicit modelling methods to implicit geological modeling methods, and beyond!
