How to create customised sheet layouts for plotting.
This tip is for a mining professional that wants to create customised sheet layouts for plotting x-sections or mining plans, for example stacked sections.
1. Plotting>plotting sheet set up window
2. Drawing area>New
3. Select an existing boarder, enter in the new drawing area name, and the description
4. Drawing Area>Property
5. Enter in the distance from the top of the sheet to the top of the drawing area.
6. You will notice that the top of the drawing area has moved down.
7. Drawing Area>copy or new
8. Fill out the sheet. Make sure the existing view port is set to 0001. This means you will be able to see the drawing areas together.
9. Drawing areas>propertis.
10. Adjust the top and bottom distance, and apply
11. The drawing area boarders can be adjusted manually using this icon
12. Drawing Area>copy or new
13. Fill out the sheet. Make sure the existing view port is set to 0001. This means you will be able to see the drawing areas together.
14. Drawing areas>properties.
15. Adjust the top and bottom distance, and apply
16. Remember the drawing area borders can be adjusted with drawing area>properties as well as with this icon.
17. Once you are happy with the drawing areas and how they fit with each other.
18. Drawing Area>Save
