Integrated Mining and Geological Information System Commissioned at the “Vostochny” Mine

As part of the Digital Transformation Strategy of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company (NMMC), an Integrated Mining and Geological Information System has been successfully commissioned at the “Vostochny” mine of the Northern Mining Department.

The project was implemented in collaboration with Dassault Systèmes (France), leveraging GEOVIA software solutions tailored to the Company’s production workflows. Over the course of implementation, a significant scope of work was completed through the joint efforts of NMMC specialists and the technology partner, resulting in a robust and integrated digital platform.

In particular, global industry best practices were adapted to the specific operational context of the “Vostochny” mine. End-to-end digital workflows were progressively introduced across geology, mine surveying, and mine planning functions. A comprehensive training program was delivered to develop internal expertise and strengthen in-house competencies. In parallel, unified data governance approaches and standardized operational processes were established within a common digital environment.

The implementation of the Integrated Mining and Geological Information System is aimed at improving the accuracy of mine planning, enhancing operational efficiency in mining processes, and reducing production-related risks.
