GEOVIA 3DEXPERIENCE 2023x Release

ENHANCING THE VIRTUAL PLANET ROLES

Geoscientists and Earth Engineers can minimize rework with the new Collaborative Designer for Surpac role, seamlessly connecting all stakeholders in a project ecosystem, ensuring that everyone is working on the right data simultaneously. GEOVIA Surpac users are immersed in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, sharing a common data framework. A model-based collaboration approach exposes Surpac data to all enterprise users and establishes end-to-end digital continuity.

3DEXPERIENCE R2023x continues to enhance the sub-surface geoscience modeling capabilities with the Geology Modeler role adding localized fault modeling and dynamic anisotropy control features to allow geologists to model increasingly complex geological environments. Expert knowledge and knowhow are preserved with a rules-based classification experience to prepare and clean geoscience data, reducing the need for third-party systems. The role is now also available on premise for those that experience remote connectivity challenges or sovereign data protection policies.

The Pit Optimizer role benefits Mine Engineers through better control on the ultimate footprint of a surface mine to maximize profit and minimize waste. Mine Planners can optimize for sustainable mining practices at the feasibility stage of a surface mining by defining geospatially-identified areas of sensitivity such as areas of ecological interest, contaminated land or existing infrastructure. The Surface Mine Designer role covers safe and practical waste and stockpile storage areas including practical ramp access design and material reporting.
