The Change Action (CA) tool allows us to track and audit changes to data on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in a simple and repeatable way. That simplicity extends to the assignment of users.
If multiple users are assigned to the Reviewer role, this can be problematic in that ALL Reviewers must approve the CA. Having the ability, however, to have Approver A OR Approver B advance the approval may be more beneficial. In addition, you may wish to have a “lead reviewer,” followed by subsequent reviews, if the lead reviewer approves. Both of these scenarios are beyond the scope of the basic application, and require the incorporation of a Route. Routes for this purpose are created using Route Templates. To date, the creation of Route Templates has not been “widgetized” for 3DDashboard and must be created in 3DSpace. Once created, they can be used over & over by users enterprise-wide. For example purposes, I have created a simple route (illustrated below) that has two initial approvers where either may approve the process to advance. This is followed by a second reviewer.
