Did you know?
You can now snap a clipping plane to the specific surface of a part in your product. This enables easy and precise alignment of the clipping plane, ensuring accurate sectional views on-the-fly.
How?
Open the Markup tab and select the Clip command. A clipping plane will appear along with a robot at its center.
During the clipping operation, select the robot to move the clipping plane.
- Snap the clipping plane to the specific surface of the desired geometry to accurately generate a sectional view starting from it.
Note: This feature is available across all applications that support the Clipping command, including 3D Markup, Design Review, and Design Validation apps.
