Typically, the qualification process requires review and approval from multiple stakeholders, which can be time-consuming.

To support small and medium businesses seeking a less rigid approach, a 'Fast Track Approval' option is available.

 

How:

Use the 'Supplier Item Qualification' web application, available in the 'Supplier Item Manager' (XSP) role. 

If both items (context and MEI) are already in a 'Released' state, the qualification moves automatically to 'Released' maturity state, and the 'Approved' status will be set to 'Yes'.
