You can use the Advanced Filter to refine product structures based on criteria like attributes, product configurations and more. This helps you display relevant product structure and focus on it.

From the R2025x GA release, you can create a branch from a filtered product structure for isolated design studies and compare it to the source in one click.

How?

• Select the root of the filtered structure and click Branch.

  Use the Advanced Branch option to Branch/Reuse/Exclude specific products during the branch operation.

• Use the newly created branch to perform the isolated design study.

• Once the study is complete, open the Revision Graph, which visually indicates the branches created using the filtered product structure.

• From the Context Menu, select 'Compare with Branch Origin'. This performs a comparison between the branch and its source structure (filtered structure), saving time as you don’t need to reapply the filter for comparison.
