Having the right applications in the "Open With" menu makes opening items faster and more convenient:

No need to search or launch them manually from Compass.

Some apps appear there by default, but if the one you need is missing, just add it to My Favorite Apps in the Compass. It’ will automatically show up in the "Open With" menu, putting the right tools right at your fingertips.
