Triggering Workflows from Events on the Platform

Introduction

The Business Process Designer role provides the ability to design, configure, simulate and deploy business processes. Users assigned to these processes can start them as needed to accomplish their work, however, there are situations where a process is automatically launched or “triggered” by an event that occurs on the platform.

Examples of such events created in the 3DSWYM app (post, wiki…)
-    Execution of a task in a project
-    Maturity change in a Change Action
-    New Issue creation

Event that triggers a business process: Task maturity change
Meaning: when a task (such as “hiring”) is in maturity state “In Work” (meaning “started”), then a new process (such as “review employment contract”) begins
