The following question is often asked by customer who do not have PAU role which allow you to do it inside Product Structure Editor Widget

First, you need to check that the relation “CAD Dependencies” is set in the Relation Control Center.

Relations Control Center can be used to administrate access to the different relations, grouped by relations sets. It specifically allows defining default relation set for each application using some Relations features.

You need to open this widget inside the dashboard and check that the relation CAD Dependencies is set for widget Product Explorer:

If any modifications have been done on the relational control center, make sure to delete Product Explorer widget and instantiate it again from the compass.

Then you can either right click on the “title” column of the widget or use the action toolbar below the widget in the tools sections to display the tree list view options:

Next, you click on “CAD Dependencies” to check the box
 

Once this is done, last step is to show the relation display in the widget

For that, you will right click on “title” column and click on “Show relation”.

This will display the CAD Dependencies relation in the tree as you can see below and display drawings
 

Now Drawings are displayed

Now, to be able to mass promote the product structure including Drawings, you need to leverage Collaborative lifecycle widget by selecting all the items inside Product Explorer and dragging it to the Collaborative Lifecycle widget.

From the widget, select all items again and then launch the promote command and you are done!
