1. BPO-OC is like a collaborator, Can't it be embedded in CSV-OC?

Currently, it is not part of CSV-OC

2. Any plan to include those roles on Premises?

 No, these roles are only available on Cloud, no plan to have them on-premise. As a reminder, Dassault Systèmes offers three offers on Cloud: Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and Dedicated Cloud.

3. You may be covering this, but how does the business process pass context - like an item, 3D model, or customer record that the process is centered around?

You can select the context object when the process will start or later during the process execution.

4. Are there any fixed plans to provide BPM also for on-prem environments?

No, these roles are not planned to be available on Premise.

5. Is it planned to extend the existing 3DX SOLIDWORKS Offer packages with the BPO-OC role?

As of now, no.

6. Can the document itself be edited in 3DX? Or does it have to be exported/re-imported?

You can use 3DDrive to edit any Document, spreadsheet and presentation. 

7. Will this functionality be replacing Routes? When a user approves/rejects a document, for example, does the status change from in work to frozen to released? Does this also integrate with Change Actions and Orders?

We want to cover the Routes use cases with more flexibility for business process creation but Route will still exist

8. Is it creating a task in the collaborative task? or the task is only shown in the Business Process Play?

As of now, no. But it is planned to have them displayed in Collaborative Tasks.

9. Can I select a single configuration or model version of a configured physical product?

We don't provide a specific filter to restrict the selection to product configuration or model version object types. Selection of those objects will be possible only if the input field is configured to accept all object types.

10. Is BPM able to allow the management of relationships between the different types of records within a process, such us: on-to-one; on-to-many; many-to-many, etc.?

We don't manage cardinalities in the BPMN diagram but you can implement validation scripts to check cardinality is as expected.

11. The documentation is very scarce on this product. When will the documentation be updated?

The documentation will be ready soon. 

12. When I create my business process in the web with (bpmn.io) available below business process design, during the import I don't have the same displaying

We don't support all features available in bpmn.io, then this behavior is expected.

13. What is the relation between context lifecycle and workflow state? For example, auto promotes of context.

Today, there is no relation between business process and lifecycle state, but in the future we will provide services to promote/demote context objects from the business process.

14. Is there additional documentation available? Specifically, how this works with the service tasks (creating a CA for example). The only docs I can find were on the Iterop site and in French.

The documentation is being done. It will be ready soon.

15. Which technology used behind Analytics? Exalead or just 3DSpace data presented with Widgets?

It's not Exalead technology but an integrated technology within the 3DEXPERIENCE BPM solution.

16. How task assignee will be set? specific user or based on role?

In the process model definition, for each task, the assignee can define with the actor of another task, a User, a User Group or be dynamically defined by user variable, by group variable, JUEL expression.

17. Will you offer the ability to execute service tasks in partner or 3rd party applications?

Yes it is possible thanks to REST API Usage mainly.

18. Do you have a plan to have more logos to design the processes more effectively?

No, as of now there is no plan to add more BPMN elements.

19. Can you create a service task to create physical products and 3dshape automatically?

No, not for now. You can check the supported service tasks in the presentation (slide 14)

20. Can Buisness Logic be deployed as Service Tasks?

No, not for now. You can check the supported service tasks in the presentation (slide 14)

21. How do you position/differentiate this vs. a project management tasks or project planning?

Project Management and Business Process Management are both important but have different objectives (for example, BPM aims to provide repeatable enterprise processes, with both human and service activities;

Project Management allows time-bound activities planning for specific endeavors at team or enterprise level), and have also different lifecycle phases (for BPM: Design > Test > Execute > Analyze and Optimize and for Project Management: Initiate > Plan > Execute > Monitor > Close).

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform already provided a single environment for both project management and engineering, and is enriched with BPM solution to address the enterprise process within the same unique platform.

22. Can we have capability to link process with RFLP?

Yes, it is possible to link Engineering Content like RFLP to a process, but also Social Content like Post, Wiki, Idea, etc.

23. How will you envision the management of all BPM processes in conjunction with existing brand processes (apps)? If for example, if a change process is built in BPM, will we have the ability to turn off the native change management process from ENOVIA, allowing only the newly created process to manage change for any object?

We don't plan to turn off native change management process but to complement the existing capabilities with the usage of business process. This is under define.

24. Is it possible to assign an external person who doesn't have any business process licenses?

No, it is not possible as of now.
