Gain Actionable Insights into Your Supplier Network with ‘Supply Network Intelligence’ application.
Introduction
Managing a supplier network involves much more than maintaining a list of suppliers. Organizations continuously collect information about supplier relationships, sourcing activities, performance evaluations, capabilities, components, and compliance across multiple business applications. While this information is valuable, it often remains distributed across different business applications, making it difficult to obtain a complete picture of supplier health and performance.
‘Supply Network Intelligence’ application
The Supply Network Intelligence application which is available with the ENOVIA Supply Network Manager (PTN-OC) role, brings all of this information together into a unified analytics layer. It consolidates the suppliers’ related data into meaningful dashboards and key performance indicators, enabling procurement and sourcing teams, supplier managers, and decision makers to monitor the health of their supplier network from a single place.
The Supply Network Intelligence application consists of six analytical views that provide both executive level summaries and detailed insights into supplier performance, sourcing activities, relationships, and supply network composition. Interactive filters allow users to analyze information across dimensions such as country, buyer, business entity, product category, supplier classification, and many other attributes, making it easy to focus on the data that matters most.
The following sections provide an overview of each analytical view available in the application:
Network Overview
The Network Overview view provides a high-level snapshot of the entire supplier network, enabling users to quickly assess overall supplier performance and recent sourcing activities.
This view is designed to provide an immediate understanding of the current state of the supplier network, and it highlights areas that may require further investigation or attention.
The dashboard consolidates information from multiple applications into a single executive level summary.
Network Composition
The Network Composition view provides insights into how the supplier network is distributed across product categories, while also showing how suppliers are connected to buyers across these dimensions.
Together, these visualizations provide a comprehensive view of the supplier network's composition, helping sourcing teams assess supplier coverage, identify concentration risks and potential gaps, and make more informed strategic sourcing decisions.
Relationships
The Relationships view provides a comprehensive overview of all buyer-supplier relationships maintained across the organization.
This view helps sourcing teams identify strategic suppliers, understand supplier dependencies, and assess how relationships are distributed across different product categories.
Performance
The Performance view provides an overview of supplier performance based on their scorecards, highlighting current performance levels and changes over time.
It enables users to quickly identify high and low performing suppliers, track performance improvements or declines, monitor scorecard completion, and identify suppliers that may require attention or follow-up.
Components
The Components view provides an overview of Manufacturer Equivalent Items (MEIs) related to suppliers, including their status, qualification information, and key dates.
It enables users to quickly assess whether components are effective, qualified, expired, or pending obsolescence, helping them identify components that may require attention.
Sourcing
The Sourcing view provides an overview of RFx requests (RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs) sent to suppliers, including their current status and due dates.
It enables users to monitor open sourcing requests, identify late or overdue requests, and follow up as needed.
