Some features of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform can immensely benefit all users. One such enhancement: the Collaboration for Microsoft Client.

When a user is assigned a Task (whether a Project Task or a standalone Collaborative Task), this task can be synchronized to an Outlook Task. Users can open the task in the Outlook, open the attachments (if any) and get an understanding of the work that needs to be done.

In the past, users could not associate deliverables directly to the tasks in Outlook. However, now in 21x, they can easily upload a deliverable to an Outlook Task from their local drives and save into the platform. They also can indicate the percent completion of the task, or choose to “Complete" the task. This will automatically save all the information into the database.
