How to Ignore Realized Changes under CA

In R2022x FD04 the CSV Role enables users to ignore Realized Changes under CA. With the “Ignore Change” functionality the CA owner & assignee can rationalize the captured Realized Changes and hide some of them, which may not be relevant for the approvers of the CA. So the Realized items, which are marked as “Ignore”, disappear from the tracked items. Selecting the option “Ignored Realized” under the filter allows you to view the items.

When ignoring Changes, the user is not only hiding the Object from the Tracked Objects of CA Realized Changes, but also ignoring the object from the Release Process.

In the following scenario: After adding a child Object to the root, the user ignores the root Object under CA Realized Changes.

In previous Releases the user had to transfer the root to a second CA, in order to release it separately at a later date. Currently with R2022x FD04 the user is able to Ignore it!

Please note that for the Ignored Change Object, the user has to manually remove the "Change Required" under Object properties. This can happen automatically, if the Admin has checked the "Automatic Change Required removal".

It is also important to set the Collaborative Space Roles, which is allowed to remove the "Change Required".

Even after ignoring a Released Change and Completing the CA, a relation "Realized Change" remains between the CA and the ignored Object:
