Context

You know how to make a dashboard and pin one or two Apps on it. Maybe you even know how to pin a search result onto your dashboard with some simple criteria. But 6WTags are really the enabler to intelligent insight and visualization of your information! But so far, that left slide-in pane requires some training, a fair amount of scrolling, and clicking each time to use it. The mouse clicks add up fast, so you may not use it as much as you like.

What if there was an easier way to see information in 3DEXPERIENCE, with only the 6WTags you cared about? In this post, you'll learn how to create visually appealing dashboards that will focus your daily work, and definitely save you clicks! Once you get to the data, take action and make decisions, or just use the 💬Commenting feature to communicate updates or questions quickly to others. Keep in mind everything will obey the P&O, so your view of data may be different than others.

• Use Case:  Individual users can setup this dashboard to easily filter their own tasks in 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

• Use Case:  Route Managers can setup this dashboard to focus only on the Routes in the company, not related to approvals of Change Actions or Issues. Using a complex search string reduces the clutter up front, allowing the 6WTags to show relevant data quicker. (No need to clutter the views with extra columns in 6WTag charts for Completed or Canceled - focus on the maturity states that matter) 💬Comment on the task to communicate to users questions, answers, and updates.
