Medias are a great way to emphasis your message.  A media can be embedded in Posts, Questions, Ideas, Wiki Pages, answers and comments. The following types of media are supported: image, including animated gif files, 360° images, video, audio, 3D Model, document, and drawings.

This blog will show you how to work with media within your communities.

1️⃣Add a media in your post

By Clicking in this icon  📎, you can access to a view that allows you to choose the source of your media and filter by type of media:

2️⃣Edit your media

You can edit the media itself by clicking in the pencil icon that appears in the floating menu while you click in the media:

You also have the possibility to edit your media’s properties. Once your media is published, you can open it by using the option “Go to Media”

Then go to information icon  and click on the pencil to access the Properties panel and edit the relevant property(ies):

You can define some settings, for example if you want to allow other members to download your media.

If your media is a video, you can also define the thumbnail that will be visible in the post where this media was added. Please watch the video below to learn how to do that:
