Enterprise Integration Framework is a set of tools available on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform public cloud that enables our Cloud customers to integrate with external systems and exchange data between them. It is a standards-based, event-driven framework. 

This Integration Framework is only available on the  3DEXPERIENCE platform public cloud offering, at this time. It contains the following services:

1.    Credential Lifecycle Management Service
2.    Message Bus Service
3.    Event Publishing Service
4.    Enterprise IP Exchange Service

Below is the high level architecture of the services and how they are positioned within the enterprise.

The framework consists of the following roles:

1.    Enterprise Integration Architect
2.    Enterprise IP Integration Manager
3.    Enterprise IP Integration Pack

It supports the following integration patterns:

1.    Punctual Operations

• Mainly used for quick short operations between the external systems and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

2.    Bulk Data Export

• Used to export Engineering or Manufacturing structure from the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to an external system -- this is asynchronous and event driven
