A new White Paper dedicated on Generating index files in ENOVIA VPM to allow 3D searching in rich clients is now available! 

The core purpose of ENOVIA VPM 3D Index Server is to generate index files to allow 3D searching in rich clients such as CATIA. It builds 2D and 3D thumbnails of the terminal nodes which are stored in the database. 3D Index server architecture is based on the BBD (Builder Broker Dispatcher) Platform which is basically 3-Layer architecture. For installing 3D Index Server you must install and configure two software components i.e. 3D Index plug-in and 3D Index Engine.
