Electronics Goes Green Conference - Sept 1st

In collaboration with the ENOVIA Sales team, I will be presenting a paper (#107) & pre-recorded presentation (in D3 section: Regulation on Materials Level: RoHS, SCiP, CRM) at the Electronics Goes Green Conference - September 1st. The presentation, "Towards a Multi-sectoral Material Declaration Data-exchange Standard," was co-authored with Solange Blaszkowski from Philips. We are both members of the IEC TC111 standard development committee responsible to maintain the IEC 62474 standard on Materials Declaration.

The purpose of this paper and presentation is to promote this standard to become a dual logo IEC & ISO standard to serve any sector, not only the Electronics & Electricals sector (High Tech for 3DS), as it stands today. It would reduce the burden for manufacturer companies and software companies, like Dassault Systèmes, to support a reduced number of standards while several are currently competing for exchange product data on their materials and substance composition.
