I received a question on creating derived output formats from CATIA V5 and decided to answer it as a post to provide more detail. Currently we support a number of derived output formats for CATIA V5. Please refer to this table below in regards to the 21x release.

You can create derived output quickly via the following steps;

1. Open a new or n existing CATIA Part via Design with CATIA V5 application

2. Use the Save with Options command to open the panel illustrated

3. Select the appropriate format or formats you wish to create and associate with the part and execute the command

You can validate the creation of the derived output via the 3DEXPERIENCE Properties command or the properties panel available in various application directly on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform
