we create concepts for design which we cross check with CFD simulations. Is there any version control for these concepts or should we assign part numbers for concepts also. from this concept, which is finalized by CFD, will be released for DFM and there will be DFM concepts which one when finalized will release it for manufacturing. Kindly suggest which is the best method to do the same, whether version control and if so, what will be the guideline for version control and then for part numbering. please suggest your best solutions. thanks
